About Jaipur Book Mark :

The Indian publishing industry has charted a course of growth, grit and resilience. With the world's attention focused on it, the industry is now South Asia's nerve centre. Thus, creating a B2B platform for publishers at an Indian literary festival became essential, and the Jaipur BookMark (JBM) was conceived to run parallel to the Jaipur Literature Festival. In 2024, JBM celebrates eleven momentous years.

In the ten years since its inception, JBM has quickly emerged as a focal point for the South Asian publishing industry and is the place to be for those on the lookout for an "edge" of opportunities, new ideas and fruitful collaborations.

Jaipur BookMark (JBM) brings together stakeholders of the book trade from across the world – from publishers to literary agents, writers, translators, translation agencies and booksellers. It gives them an opportunity not just to "talk" business (through panel discussions and roundtables), but also provides the right and fruitful atmosphere to inspire one-on-one meetings and networking. This fosters great business relationships and allows for the occasional contract to be signed, too.

In 2020 and 2021, when the world grappled with a pandemic, JBM went digital and brought publishing stakeholders together for meaningful conversations. JBM 2022 brought back physical panels, and JBM 2023 paved the way for more cutting-edge ideas to expand the ever-growing book trade.

JBM 2024 will be held against the backdrop of the magnificent Jaipur Literature Festival, from February 1st to 5th, 2024 and pivot around the business of books with those who drive it..

Cancellation & Refund Policy:

REGISTRATION once confirmed CANNOT BE CANCELED OR REFUNDED.

THE REGISTRATION / TICKETS WILL REMAIN VALID FOR RESCHEDULED DATES should there be future postponements.

Paid registrations are non refundable and non transferable.

Behavior:

Everyone is expected to behave in a dignified and orderly fashion.

No one is allowed to defame, abuse, harass, stalk, threaten or otherwise violate the legal rights (such as rights of privacy and publicity) of others.

No one is allowed to publish, post, upload, distribute or disseminate any inappropriate, profane, defamatory, infringing, obscene, indecent or unlawful topic, name, material or information. Promotional materials may not be distributed at the event unless previously approved by the festival. Anyone violating this policy will be asked to leave the event.

You shall be liable for payment of damages caused by you to the festival property.

You shall be responsible for your personal belongings.

You are not allowed to use, consume and carry alcohol, tobacco products, narcotic substances on the festival premises.

You are not allowed to carry weapons, arms, hazardous substances on the festival premises.
