Guidelines for Media Accreditation
Media accreditation for the Jaipur Literature Festival is compulsory.
Please follow the guidelines carefully while completing your online accreditation registration.
Registration does not guarantee media accreditation. The Festival has a limited capacity for both the public and the media. Accreditation is at the discretion of the Festival’s management.
All applicants may be required to provide proof of commission from their commissioning Editor or Producer.
If a media outlet wishes to delegate a team to attend and cover the Festival, every individual must register independently, mentioning the details of the delegating Supervisor for the team.
Once you have submitted your request for media accreditation, you will receive notification of your accreditation status soon.
Registration for media accreditation will close on January 9th, 2025, or when we are at full capacity, whichever is earlier. A notification will be added to the website when registration is closed.
International media person visiting the Festival will need to apply for a ‘J’ Visa (journalist visa), before travelling to India. We would be happy to provide a letter of confirmation stating that we have given an Accreditation to the said media, in order to help facilitate the visa application process. Please highlight this under Specific Requirements section in the form or send an email to us requesting us for this.
Media badges will be available for collection from the Festival site starting Thursday, January 15, 2025 and only issued once. Duplicates will not be issued.
Please bring a copy of your approved media registration and commissioning letter from your Editor when collecting your media badge.
Media badges have photo identification and are non-transferable.
All media persons applying for accreditation are requested to use the full name of the Festival including the sponsors with naming rights to the Festival (Jaipur Literature Festival) and any associate sponsors in all media coverage produced prior, during and after the event.
All media applying for accreditation are requested to use the Festival’s official social media handles and hashtags as per the list given below.
